Full-stack engineer · Toronto, ON
I build systems that reach real users.
I work across the whole stack, from mobile clients and APIs to retrieval systems and the infrastructure under them, and I care most about the part where software meets the person using it.
Now, through Sept 2026
Application Developer at Sobeys, building a permission-aware AI assistant for internal knowledge.
I joined in June 2026 and work on their application, their site, and the assistant. Before that I was building Gander Social, a Canadian social network on the AT Protocol.

How I work
I like problems where the hard part is the ambiguity, not the syntax.
Ship to real users
Most of what I have built is in someone's hands: on an app store, on a phone, inside a company. That constraint changes every technical decision, and it is the one I design for first.
Own the whole stack
I am comfortable moving from a mobile screen to an API to a systemd unit in the same day. Problems rarely respect layer boundaries, so I try not to either.
Work in the open
I publish what I can, document what I publish, and write things down before I build them. It makes the work reviewable, which makes it better.
